A Diamond, Lots Of Ghosts And Threads. Francois and Des meet first in a Voo Doo shop in New Orleans, and then again at a large plantation that is riddled with ghosts. She is the party planner and he is supposed to catch the thief wanting the diamond that is to be auctioned off. They keep crossing paths and the mystery grows deeper. Unexpected clues and happenings, fires, a sub basement, cursed ornaments, and an almost drowning keeps the pages turning. This mystery will keep you on the edge right up to the end.
Time for Fate and Mystery. Who doesn’t love a little mystery with your romance? Francois and Desiree keep running into each other and finally decide to help each other out. Will his secrets bring them closer or tear them apart? This story was filled with intrigue and it was a very compelling read.
Super Quick and Fun Read With All the Feels and Thrills. Without giving away the story, I was captured by the setting that is as alive as the story. I love the chemistry between the main characters and the Happy For Now ending that makes me excited to see how these two are developed in the series. Yet, the story stands in its own. The holiday mystery paired with the holiday romance was a recipe for delicious and delightful suspenseful romantic tension. The characters are well developed and inspired. Loved that a character evolved with coaching and another evolved with support. The romance was clean with spicy thoughts and innuendo and it was the perfect holiday read.
