Throughout this book, Kendis and Jason attempt to keep romance alive while living a life fraught with danger in the heart of New Orleans. I loved the pace of the storyline. I didn't have a chance to get bored!.
There was something about this book that hooked me from the very first page. I found it to be intense, suspenseful, and poetic. The story was beautiful and suspenseful. Since I read this one first, I'm backtracking, but I was still able to follow the story. I highly recommend giving it a shot!
This book gives the reader a journey into the world of billionaire romance. Jason bribes his ex's boss to work for him. Sounds like a the perfect disaster but it's also the second chance at love. Kendis is a charming character who the author does a admirable job of adding multidimensionality to. This is a compelling mix of love and power struggles. If you're into suspenseful romance stories, this book is a must read.
